Susan Rugh, NP-C, believes that every patient deserves to be heard, understood, and treated as an individual. At EmpowHER Health Collaborative in Jacksonville, Oregon, she provides personalized care focused on helping patients feel better, function better, and take an active role in their health.

Susan specializes in family practice, urgent care, chronic pain management, and injury recovery. As a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2019, she brings more than 30 years of experience as a firefighter and paramedic to her practice, giving her a broad perspective and a strong foundation in caring for patients with complex medical needs.

For patients living with chronic pain or recovering from an injury, Susan offers additional treatment options, including Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) and radial shockwave therapy. These therapies can provide non-opioid options for managing pain and supporting recovery.
